🍌Banana and walnut muffins🍌

These have made the perfect afternoon snack this week. The banana in the muffin, mixed with the crunch of the walnut makes this a super tasty treat ✌🏻

Ingredients –
▫️ 3 ripe bananas mashed
▫️ 1/2 cup honey
▫️ 1 egg
▫️ 1/3 cup coconut oil
▫️ 1 cup wholemeal flour
▫️ 1/2 cup rolled oats
▫️ 1 tsp baking powder
▫️ 1 tsp baking soda
▫️ 1/2 tsp salt
▫️ 2 tsp cinnamon
▫️ 1 1/2 cups walnuts
▫️ 2 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

Method –
▫️ mash bananas and add honey, egg and oil. Mix well.
▫️ add dry ingredients (only 1/2 of the walnuts).
▫️ mix well and distribute in muffin tin.
▫️ add remainder of walnuts on top.
▫️ bake for 20-25 minutes 180°C
