Honey soy tofu with Asian greens and wild rice.

I make my own honey soy sauce because I find the store bought versions often contain a lot of unnecessary sugar and oils. By creating my own sauces, I can control what goes into it and feel more at ease eating a yummy dish!

I chose wild rice this weekend because it’s super colourful and goes amazing with Asian flavours, but it’s higher in fibre and protein to other rice alternatives. The extra protein is definitely needed while getting back into a normal training routine as it aids in recovery.

Ingredients –
▫️ crushed garlic
▫️ minced ginger
▫️ low sodium soy sauce
▫️ honey
▫️ lemon juice and rind
▫️ sesame oil
▫️ chilli flakes (optional)
▫️ dry basil
