I’ve always struggled with my mindset around eating during days off, days where I’m not training as much, or during a time when I’m injured. In my mind, it made no sense to eat the same (or even close to the same) amount of food as I did during high training days.

fueling.former.athletes put it extremely well in their post that our bodies need fuel to be able to repair our muscles – which requires energy! This post shifts the mindset that just because you aren’t training, doesn’t mean you don’t need fuel for your day. In fact, it helps replenish resources, increases muscle repair and recovery. Fueling effectively will help you get back to training quicker, and have better training sessions because of it.
